The M.O.C is where it is held and is one of the better venues I have seen a Hi-Fi show held in. The building has big open spaces for static displays and upstairs lots of medium sized rooms for quite successful dynamic displays. Some companies also had little audio booths on the main floor where it was possible (through good isolation from the main floor noise) to achieve good sound too.

I can imagine that the public days following would be very very busy. There was plenty to see with all serious European manufacturers present and many US brands also present via their local distributors. The standard of display was very high and the effort made by the vendors obviously very large.

Room upon room of them. Mostly brands I had never heard of and I suspect quite a few of the 'audio jewellery' type. Click here to go to the TT page.

Actually I rather liked this room but they had taken minimalist to extreme with a large 3.6m x 1.2m display stand containing one small floortsanding loudspeaker, placed just so! Sorry no picture was staken, I was simply too staggered by the pure beauty!

But before you do that I thought a few pics of Munich may be of interest. Other than BMW's and beer, Munich also offers a very pleasant CBD full of interesting architecture, people and shopping, oh and great food joints to give one something to wash down with the superb and well priced beer.
